A software team in Lalitpur, working for clients here and abroad.
SiteCraft Innovation builds websites, web applications, mobile apps and the marketing that surrounds them. We are based in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, inside Kathmandu Valley, and roughly half our work is for clients outside Nepal.
Why a Nepali team, honestly
The usual pitch for hiring in Nepal is cost, and that is real but it is also the least interesting reason. Cost alone is a weak foundation for a working relationship, because there is always somewhere cheaper and the work that competes purely on rate is the work most exposed to automation.
The better reasons are specific. Nepal is UTC+5:45, which puts a full working day ahead of Europe and further ahead of the United States, so overnight progress is real when it is managed deliberately. Engineers here build for constrained networks and mid-range devices by default, because that is the local market, and that discipline transfers directly to any product with users outside a major city. And a small team that owns an outcome end to end tends to be easier to work with than a large one that owns a slice of it.
For clients inside Kathmandu Valley, the argument is simpler still: we can be in a room with you when that is the fastest way to settle something, and we understand the payment rails, regulatory context and language requirements without a discovery phase.
How we work
You keep everything
Code, design files, domains, hosting and ad accounts are registered in your name from day one. If you decide to work with someone else, the handover is an afternoon, not a negotiation. We would rather be kept because the work is good.
Scope in writing before anything is built
Every project starts with a written scope and a fixed price or a stated rate. Changes get priced as changes. Nobody discovers the real number at invoice time.
We will talk you out of work
If an off-the-shelf product solves your problem, or if a set of targeted fixes beats the rebuild you asked for, we will say so. Quoting the bigger project is the easy sale and the wrong advice.
Performance and accessibility are not add-ons
Core Web Vitals on real devices, keyboard navigation, contrast and large text sizes are part of the definition of done. They are also, conveniently, what search engines reward.
No tactics we would have to hide
In marketing work: no purchased links, no fake reviews, no spun content. These produce a short-lived chart and a long-lived problem.
